I stayed here solo for two weeks when I needed a quiet space to work, eat & rest, with relatively easy access to central Tokyo a few times a week — it did the job! There are supermarkets within walking distance, & the river is near enough for doing exercise. Wi-fi worked well & the heating was fine for a warm November, though the shower room could be chilly. I did notice the noise from the room above but it wasn’t frequent or much of an issue. I did miss having a grill in the kitchen — there are only two induction hobs & a microwave, sadly. There is no bath on site (public bathhouse 10 mins walk away). The apartment was rather dark, especially the kitchen. It’s very spacious, though; the host was very kind, & there were plenty of communal amenities provided in the store room. Thank you for a peaceful fortnight in Kawaguchi.
