Location was perfect for us a 10 minute walk to the train station, CO-OP grocery store across the street and a 24 hour convenience store right next door. The area was quiet at night and Emiko was available, with a shared area with a few supplies should you need them. Keep in mind that this is an older building with paper thin walls so quiet is suggested from 8pm to 8am which did not pose a problem for us. There was some confusion for me checking in however, much of the problem was my own fault because I did not review the original instructions that was sent to when we first booked. Those instructions are very clear so be sure to review as Emiko has a great system for check in, we will be rebooking at “Secret Base” on our trip back to Kawaguchi to visit family.
