Emiko is a fantastic host. She made me and my husband feel right at home. Any time I had a question, she responded right away and took care of things for us to our complete satisfaction. The apartment is in a great location, close to the train station, supermarket, a Lawson store right next door where we could go down any time of the day or night and purchase food and items. The area is quiet at night and we slept great. The bed was so comfortable, with wonderful soft cotton sheets — an important item that is not always available. There are also interesting places to eat in the neighborhood, including an Indian restaurant. A few blocks away is a small bath house and a twenty minute walk to a large onsen. We loved staying at Emiko’s and highly recommend The Secret Base.
