I stayed here for about a week with my partner to use as a home base while we explored other areas of Tokyo. It was definitely worth it. Checking in / out were easy and the place was easy to find. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, with a Lawson literally 2 steps away (then a 7-11 on the way to the place from the train station). The host, Emiko, actually saw my partner and I just arriving to the place, led us to it, and later came by to give a mini tour of the location. She was very kind and provided many recommendations of the area. The place itself is accurate to the photos, there is a handbook within the unit that describes how to’s and general guidance. The house is older so it’s not the fanciest place however I appreciated the furnishings it had. I did notice it had a bit of an “old” smell when walking in, but it can be aired out easily. The curtains also don’t fully block out all light at night, so I’d be mindful if you’re light-sensitive when sleeping.
