I cannot express how incredible this Air BnB experience was. From the start, our trip was a mess, we came in as international travelers two days late but the host Emiko accommodated us without hesitation, even when we arrived off schedule around 9 pm. The flat itself, in an older building, was incredibly well appointed and inviting. EXTREMELY clean, EXTREMELY comfortable. Emiko has thought of every little detail when it came to making information available and the place comfortable. We were many family members staying for multiple weeks. Towards the end, we all caught a horrible, horrible virus that had us violently ill, but Emiko remained supportive and helpful, even helping us arrange a hospital visit, and not blinking in spite of a child’s throwing up everywhere. Kawaguchi was a smart, convenient and quieter choice over busy Tokyo, but the real gem here is Emiko herself. I cannot express enough how much she helped and supported us during this unusual travel ordeal!
